Liberaal Vlaams Studentenverbond
Het Liberaal Vlaams Studentenverbond (LVSV) Gent is een politiek-filosofische studentenvereniging, reeds actief sinds 1930. Pluralisme, openheid en partijonafhankelijkheid zijn onze voornaamste kenmerken. Via debatten, discussieavonden en lezingen trachten wij de Gentse student warm te maken voor een filosofisch onderbouwd liberalisme. Het studentikoze krijgt echter ook onze aandacht, aan de hand van cantussen, bierbowlings en uitstapjes verkennen we ook de minder formele gebieden van het Gentse studentenleven.

International Activity: Dr. Emmanuel Martin on Liberty & African Development
On Wednesday, April 21th, Dr. Emmanuel Martin plans to visit LVSV Gent to give a lecture about 'Liberty and African Development.'
Emmanuel Martin’s academic work deals with ‘faked development’, market dynamics and growth, and the concept of civil society. He received his doctorate in Economics from Paul Cezanne University in Aix-en-Provence. He is the editor of www.UnMondeLibre.org, a Cato Institute project in France.
The lecture starts at 8.00 PM, the location is the Liberal Archive (Kramersplein 23, 9000 Gent). Entrance is free.
