Liberaal Vlaams Studentenverbond
Het Liberaal Vlaams Studentenverbond (LVSV) Gent is een politiek-filosofische studentenvereniging, reeds actief sinds 1930. Pluralisme, openheid en partijonafhankelijkheid zijn onze voornaamste kenmerken. Via debatten, discussieavonden en lezingen trachten wij de Gentse student warm te maken voor een filosofisch onderbouwd liberalisme. Het studentikoze krijgt echter ook onze aandacht, aan de hand van cantussen, bierbowlings en uitstapjes verkennen we ook de minder formele gebieden van het Gentse studentenleven.

International Activity: Dr. Tim Evans on "The Relevance of Libertarian Ideas in the 21th Century"
Tomorrow on Wednesday, March 24th, Dr. Tim Evans, president of the Libertarian Alliance, will visit LVSV Gent to give a lecture on "The Relevance of Libertarian Ideas in the 21st Century".
Dr. Tim Evans is a Consultant Director at the Adam Smith Institute, and has a PhD from the London School of Economics. He is also CEO of the Cobden Centre, Chairman of the Economic Policy Centre, Chairman of Global Health Futures Ltd, Managing Director of Farsight SPI Ltd, a Senior Fellow of the Centre for the New Europe, and a member of the Mont Pelerin Society.
The lecture starts at 8.00 PM, the location is the Liberal Archive (Kramersplein 23, 9000 Gent). Entrance is free.
